1. What Color Coded is
Color Coded analyses a selfie to estimate your personal colour palette, re-ranks a demo catalogue against that palette, and renders virtual try-on images. It is a demonstration product built for the YouCam API hackathon.
2. Your account
You need an account to use the AI assistant and to keep try-on renders. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential. Tell us immediately if you believe someone else has accessed your account.
You must be old enough to consent to processing of your personal data in your jurisdiction.
3. Credits
Account features that call paid third-party APIs consume credits. New accounts receive a starting credit grant. Credits have no cash value, are not refundable, and cannot be transferred between accounts.
4. Colour results are estimates
Palette results are produced by an automated colour model from a single photograph. Lighting, camera hardware, and make-up all shift the measurement. Treat results as a shopping aid, not as a professional colour consultation or as any kind of medical or dermatological assessment.
5. Acceptable use
Do not upload photographs of people who have not agreed to it, attempt to disrupt the service, or use automated means to extract the catalogue or the colour engine.
6. Closing your account
You may close your account at any time from account settings. We keep the account record for a 30-day grace period so the action can be reversed and abuse can be investigated, then the record is anonymised.
7. No warranty
The service is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service.
8. Changes
If we change these terms materially, we publish a new version and ask you to agree again before you continue using the service.
